Beautifying our Community
Have you ever thought about joining our garden club?
Do you enjoy gardening? Do you want to learn more about gardening? Do you enjoy being with friendly people who share your enjoyment of gardening? Are you interested in helping others? Do you like visiting others’ gardens or public gardens? Would you like to help make our community more beautiful?
If so, come to a program/meeting and check us out!
Membership
Anyone is welcome to attend a club program/meeting. Usually the program is held first. There is no obligation to join if you visit. We would suggest attending a couple of meetings prior to making a commitment. Dues are $15 a year, due in May. An annual yearbook provides a listing of upcoming programs, list of members, bylaws and additional information. A member publishes a monthly newsletter.

A little club history
The Meek’s Mill Garden Club was organized in 1978. A group of individuals interested in forming a Club met at the Constantine branch of the Three Rivers Savings and Loan Bank. The meeting time was set for the 2nd Monday of each month at 9:30 am. It was moved that $5 be charged for dues and that our Club be affiliated with the Federated Garden Clubs of Michigan.
Thus was the beginning of many friendships, flower shows, programs, community projects, garden tours, fund raising projects and learning about the many aspects of gardening, birds, design and so much more.
In 2018 Meek’s Mill Garden Club obtained 501(c)3 status and has moved forward with this website, Facebook and so much more as the club celebrates 40 years!
